I've tried "blogging" before, and seem to always fall short in keeping it updated. One thing I found was that it didn't appear as though anyone was reading them, so I became discouraged. However, now that I've become "really" old, I thought I'd start another one and if anyone read it-great! If not, at least I'll develop enough disciple to keep writing, even if no one but me reads it.
So, how's your day been going? My days are always full and seem to always become far to short. Every week I have at least three messages to prepare for, books to read, chores to do and then there are people to visit (and where I live it's a drive no matter where I may be going.) Just to pick-up a pizza is a 30-mile trip. But it is quiet here.
OK, I do want to leave you with this one point. I want you to read one Psalm each week and start with Psalm 117. Don't worry it isn't long, it's really isn't. In fact I'll quote it for you:
1 O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
That's it-two verses. So, start with this Psalm and read it to yourself every day and throughout the day; see if it helps you as you walk down the path the Lord has you on.
God bless.
